BorrowBox for Dyslexia

BorrowBox is our eBook and eAudiobook provider.  You can download the BorrowBox app for free and log in with your library card number and PIN.  

BorrowBox has some useful features for readers with Dyslexia:

  • you can change the font for each ebook to a special Dyslexic font which makes it easier to read.
  • you can change the background colour of the page to a sepia tone or make it a dark backgroud with light writing to make the text more accessible.
  • you can increase the spacing between words and sentences 
  • you can enlarge the font size.

You can download and listen to eaudiobooks for children and this will help them increase vocabulary and comprehension.
