Artist Supports and Training

Meath Artist Meet-Up (MAMU) Workshop & Gathering Series

The MAMU Workshop & Gathering Series aims to provide an opportunity for Meath artists & creatives to learn new skills that enhance their practice, while gathering with their peers in an informal & inviting setting.

This artist support inititative builds on past FÉACH training programmes by creating a space to meet & network and by offering workshops throughout the year covering a wide range of topics. These include funding applications, creative writing, producer training, marketing for the arts etc. and will be faciltated by leading creative industry mentors.

But most of all, this series isn’t just about knowledge sharing; the sense of belonging and gathering is as important as what is learned. With this ethos in mind, it is intended that this initiative will help to combat the sense of isolation sometimes felt by independent artists, and create opportunites for new collaborations between Meath-based artists and beyond.

After each workshop, there will be an opportunity for artists to gather & enjoy a light lunch together.

The MAMU Workshop & Gathering Series is supported by The Arts Council.
