Deirdre is actively involved in the Irish Theatre Sector both as Playwright and Producer. Her work is translated into many languages and produced regularly both in Ireland and on the International stage. Deirdre’s latest play WILD SKY was commissioned by Meath County Council Arts Office and was written in commemoration of events leading up to the 1916 Irish Rising. It premiered in Spring 2016 at various venues Ireland & USA.
Kids’ Classics is a not-for-profit organisation that provides high quality music making opportunities in educational, healthcare and community settings.
Kids’ Classics deliver fun, educational, interactive and accessible music workshops for schools and children such as: Meet the Composer.
Kids Classics also design, manage and deliver professional music projects and programmes in Healthcare and Community Settings around Ireland. They facilitate training courses and mentoring opportunities for musicians and healthcare staff. Kids’ Classics works in collaboration with national cultural institutions, universities, nursing schools and local arts offices to develop and build partnerships in the areas of arts & health, and music education at county, regional, national and international level.
The Irish Writers’ Centre is the national resource centre for Irish literature. Their mission is to support and promote writers at all stages of their development. The Irish Writer’s Centre offers a diverse programme of writing courses and workshops led by established writers across a range of genres including memoir, poetry, playwriting, short-stories and the novel.

Visual Artists Ireland is the Representative Body for Visual Artists in Ireland. They provide practical support to visual artists in all art forms throughout their careers. Meath County Council Arts Office has partnered with Visual Artist Ireland in Continuing Professional Development initiatives including, Visual Arts Clinics and Developing Opportunities for Your Work.
