Managing Children’s Sleep: An Information Session for Parents

Navan Library on Tuesday, September 24th at 7pm

Are you struggling with your child's sleep schedule? Does your little one refuse to nap during the day or wake up multiple times at night? You are not alone!

Public Health Nurse Bróna Connolly has observed that many parents face similar challenges, and she is here to help with a talk focused on how to manage children’s sleep. This event will cover everything from understanding what normal sleep looks like for infants and toddlers to creating effective bedtime routines. Whether a child needs help falling asleep on their own or parents are just looking to improve their child's overall sleep habits, this session is designed for them.

Topics to be discussed:

  • Understanding sleep patterns
  • What constitutes normal sleep
  • Encouraging healthy sleep habits
  • Crafting a consistent sleep and bedtime routine

This session is not just a lecture—it’s a conversation! Participants will have the chance to ask questions and share their own experiences. Together, everyone can explore techniques to help children (and parents!) get a restful night’s sleep.

Parents are invited to join this informative and supportive session to work towards better sleep for their families.
