To celebrate Family Time at Your Library, Meath County Council Library Service is hosting a series of free events this December, offering something for everyone. From imagination-sparking storytelling sessions to craft workshops that let your creativity shine, there's plenty to enjoy.
This year, we are excited to introduce ‘Quizmas’, a festive-themed family quiz designed for families with children aged 6 and up. Meanwhile, Ashbourne Library will offer adults the chance to delve into the Japanese craft of Kimekomi. For a delightful hands-on experience, Oldcastle and Trim Libraries are organizing a lively two-hour workshop where parents and children can collaborate to make a Gingerbread Man.
All our branches will host Christmas storytime and craft sessions and family favourite ‘STEAM Saturdays’ will continue throughout December, providing engaging activities for all.
Make sure to book your place!
Remember to reserve your spot! While these events are free, spaces are limited, so you'll need to secure a place through your local library.
