Sew Your Own Gingerbread Man: Family Time at Your Library 2024

Oldcastle Library (3rd December) & Trim Library (14th December)

Join us in Oldcastle and Trim this December for a fun-filled two-hour workshop where parents and children can team up to create a Gingerbread Man! Hosted by Wren and Mabel, this event is part of Family Time at Your Library.

During this hands-on workshop you will learn basic hand sewing skills, including how to cut and assemble pieces of fabric, sew on eyes and noses, stitch the body, and stuff your Gingerbread Man to bring him to life. You can also add your own special touches with decorations. It's a fantastic way for families to spend time together and learn something new.

Children attending this event must be 8 years old or older and accompanied by an adult. Each adult can accompany a maximum of two children aged 8 or above.
