Child Protection

Meath County Council is committed to a child-centred approach to our work with children in the delivery of all our services and activities. The County Council has an overall corporate duty and responsibility to safeguard the children accessing the Council services and activities.

Meath County Council is committed to ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place to protect children from harm/abuse in so far as is practicable while accessing our services, to provide all staff and volunteers with clear guidance on how to treat children respectfully, and to provide and maintain a clear procedure on how to report abuse where concerns arise.
