The trails for Navan and Dunboyne were launched on Friday 22nd March.
This new series of walking trails raises awareness of and an appreciation for the rich built heritage in Architectural Conservation Areas in Dunboyne and Navan in Meath.
In addition to well-known public buildings, each trail shines a light on some of the lesser known architectural details and the stories that are associated with these unique places.
Follow the Dunboyne trail to learn about its Olympic connections as well as the legendary motor racing that took place in the village.
The Navan trail includes a hideout for the town’s very own Robin Hood as well as historic stocks that were used for punishment by public humiliation, and much more!
