Housing Developers in Meath are being asked to consider offering under construction or recently completed new Turnkey Residential Developments and Uncommenced Residential Developments with planning permission to Meath County Council, under an advance purchase turnkey arrangement.
Meath County Council are seeking to enter into advance purchase arrangements to secure Turnkey Residential Developments and Uncommenced Residential Developments with planning permission in areas where the need, in particular for social and affordable housing is most acute.
Joint Venture arrangements that include an Approved Housing Body will be considered. Meath County Council is seeking to create sustainable communities by encouraging a greater mix of social, affordable and private housing.

- Laytown
- Duleek
- Navan
- Dunboyne
- Ratoath
- Dunshaughlin
- Slane
- Enfield
- Trim
- All other towns/villages in County Meath where there is a social and affordable housing need
Developments to be considered must be close to services in a town or village, ideally within one mile (1.6km) from shops, schools and local amenities. Developments should be in compliance with Building Regulations.

Developments are subject to the approval of the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage. Meath County Council is not obliged to purchase any Developments submitted as part of this process.
