Meath County Council Cultural Services Francis Ledwidge Award

As a legacy to the Francis Ledwidge Centenary 1917 - 2017 commemorations, Meath County Council Cultural Services are pleased to announce the Francis Ledwidge Award 2018

This award, named in honour of Francis Ledwidge aims to support writers in developing works of poetry.

The awardee will be granted a week long residency at the prestigious Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig, County Monaghan, plus a €1,500.00 cash prize.

Applicants should demonstrate hoe a creative residency and financial award would benefit their work.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment and achievement to the craft of poetry.
