Meath County Council has been made aware that there is a group of people impersonating asphalt contractors, seeking payment from residents for the carrying out of works to lanes and roads.

Please note that NO contractor working on behalf of Meath County Council will ask any resident for any payments. 

If you are approached by anybody claiming to be an asphalt contractor and are unsure whether they are legitimate, you should ask for the person's name, note the time they are speaking to you, and contact Transportation Department, Meath County Council, on 046 9097000.
