Glas Civil Engineering Ltd started construction work on the Slipways on the 12th August 2019.

The in-river works at Kilcaran Slipway, Ardmulchan Slipway and Trim Castle Slipway are complete with landscaping works to be carried out and completed by the end of September. In the case of an Emergency these slipways are currently accessible for use by the Emergency Services.

The construction of the Slipway at the Rampart Navan started on Monday 9th September.

The Slipway at Blackwater Park, Navan will start on Monday 16th September. There will be minor disturbance in Blackwater Park over the construction phase which will be for approximately 2 weeks. The  Park will be open as normal. We would ask users of the Park to be patient during the course of the works.

It is anticipated that all of the Slipways including landscaping will be completed by the end of September 2019 and available to use by the Emergency Services and River Search Organisations.
