Works will take place on N2 Collon Road, N2 Dublin Road & N51 Navan Road - Week beginning Monday, 16th September.

• On N2 Collon Road the work consists of mastic surrounds to pavement ironwork.

• On N2 Dublin Road the work consists of mastic surrounds to pavement ironwork & drainage installations in vicinity of Fenor Cross.


*** NO ROAD CLOSURES ARE REQUIRED *** - All of the above works will be carried by use of stop / go traffic management.


• On N51 Navan Road the road will be closed (from crossroads to Marians Terrace) on Monday, 16th - Friday, 20th from 10.00am – 4.00pm each day. Detour is via Navan, R153, R150 & N2. The work consists of deep patching, drainage, milling of surface course & regulating layer to pavement. Access will be maintained for local residents and businesses within Slane Village. Flag men will be stationed at each end of the closure to allow access / egress. Access for local business will be displayed on all VMS on approaches to Slane village & access for local business signs will also be erected at closure points. N51 Navan Road will be opened for the weekend until work recommences on Monday, 23rd September (nightworks for 3 nights).

We would ask that vehicles are not parked on the carriageway during the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times via a diversion of the existing pathway around the construction works.
