Meath Arts Office and the Toradh Gallery are delighted to present The Ashbourne Story in partnership with the Ashbourne Historical Society (AHS). The AHS have put a considerable amount of work into compiling this exhibition which was due to be presented as part of the Ashbourne 2020 celebrations. Ashbourne 2020 celebrated the signing of the lease in 1820 for the land on which Frederick Bourne would build a small village with several coaching inns, a small hotel, a toll house and other buildings. He called the village Ashbourne. The exhibition runs until 8th January 2024.
