Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 - Family Sand Art Experience
Join us on the beach for some sandy creativity!
Environmental Artist Sean Corcoran of The Art Hand will lead a fun filled Sand Art Experience at Bettystown Beach.
Participants will take part in the creation of a piece of Sand Art under Sean’s guidance in response to the environment on the day. It could be an abstract image or perhaps an Octopus!
Sean will bring along all the required tools including bamboo sticks and garden rakes. This will be an active, fun and genuine experience of the simple and mindful process of temporary art in nature. Suitable for all ages.
Children must be accompanied by an adult as this is a family event.
What to wear! What to bring!
Please wear Crocs or flat sole trainers. No hiking boots please as they leave large marks on the sand. Bring water and hopefully suncream will be needed!
*Outdoor event – come prepared for the weather.
*Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children on the beach at all times.
