Check branch listings for dates and times

We're delighted to welcome the Last Hope Animal Charity to our libraries for a series of talks for children on Animal Welfare over the next few months.

The talks will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to the Last Hope Animal Charity and their work
  • TNR (Trap–neuter–return/release) Feral Cats
  • What our pets need to be happy
  • Activity on the needs of common house pets and how these needs differ from pet to pet (dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and birds).
  • What you can do to help animals in need.

So if you're an animal lover and would like to find out about what you can do to look after your pet properly or help those animals in need of a home then come along.

This talk is aimed at children aged 6 to 12.  Parental supervision is required.
