Seniorline is a confidential listening service for older people provided by trained older volunteers, that is open 365 days a year, from 10am to 10pm.
The coronavirus is a particular threat to older people and subsequently, SeniorLine has put in place a number of protocols to support our many older callers from all over Ireland.
***Any caller, concerned about COVID-19, will receive the most up to date guidance as recommended by Government sources. Good health practice is reinforced at all times. This information is updated daily as the situation changes and is available to each of our volunteers at the phones.***

✅ ALONE
ALONE have launched a COVID-19 support line for older people Working in collaboration with the Department of Health and the HSE
Sean Moynihan, CEO of ALONE said “The outbreak of COVID-19 will pose additional challenges for older people who may already be vulnerable and particularly those who struggle with health difficulties, loneliness, and other issues. To the friends and family of older people who may have concerns, we are encouraging them to continue to support older people in the community as they have always done, while ensuring they are taking the same protective measures.”

Provides information and support on older people's issues and services throughout The information service is open from 9:30am-1:00pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. You can call them on 01475 6989

Sister Jean Kelly and Sister Briege Murphy are Sisters of Mercy nuns who offer a confidential phone line of listening and prayer. They can be contacted from 9.00am - 9.00pm on 042 9331602.
