What information do I need to provide when making a complaint?
- Your name and address are required for verification purposes and in the event we require further information to assist in the investigation. Your details are also required to enable the planning authority to notify you, as per section 154(1)(b of the planning and development Act. Therefore, we are unable to accept anonymous complaints. The identity of the complainant is confidential, in line with section 35 of the Freedom of Information Act 1997 - 2014
- Exact location, eircode/directions to the site
- Details of the alleged breach
- Any details you have concerning the owner or person carrying out the alleged unauthorised activity including their name and address
- When the development commenced
