Renewing Your Motor Taxation
You will need the following:
- Completed application form, i.e. Reminder RF100B or Tax Renewal Form RF100A available at www.motortax.ie
- Appropriate Fee – rates available at www.motortax.ie
Renewing Your Motor Taxation - Change of Particulars
(if there is a change of particulars since the previous taxation of the vehicle, e.g. change of address, change of vehicle colour)
You will need the following:
- Completed Change of Particulars Form RF111 – available at www.motortax.ie
- Appropriate Fee – rates available at www.motortax.ie
- Registration Book or Vehicle Registration Certificate
Motor Taxation Following a Change of Ownership
You will need the following:
- Completed Application Form RF100A or RF100B
- Appropriate Fee - rates available at www.motortax.ie
Converting Your Vehicle to a Motor Caravan
If you are considering converting your vehicle to a motor caravan please consult the Vehicle Conversions section and the Revenue website at www.revenue.ie for additional important information in relation to vehicle conversions.
If a declaration to Revenue is required you must follow the instructions in relation to Vehicle Conversions as detailed on www.revenue.ie
When taxing a vehicle for the first time following a conversion you must submit:
- the appropriate documents listed above,
- the letter you receive from Revenue regarding any V.R.T. liability, if applicable, and
- the Declaration of Conversion and Suitably Qualified Individual declaration.
