Meath County Council's Community Response Forum Activated to Provide Assistance to Worst Affected Areas of County After Storm Éowyn

Meath County Council in partnership with the Heritage Council prepared the first County Meath Biodiversity Action Plan in 2008. The plan involved a review of existing biodiversity knowledge and established priorities and proposed actions and targets for biodiversity within the county for the five years.
The second County Meath Biodiversity Plan covered the period 2015-2020.
A third County Meath Biodiversity Action Plan is currently in development. This process is being supported by the Biodiversity Working Group of the Meath Heritage Forum. Meath County Council aim to finalise and launch an up-to-date plan in 2025 which will cover the period 2025 – 2030.
