Meath Local Community Development Committee is the Local Action Group (LAG) for the delivery of the LEADER Programme in County Meath for the programme period 2014 - 2020 and the transitional LEADER programme period 2021 - 2023.
The LCDC consists of both public and private sector partners from within the administrative boundary of the County and comprises 19 members, 10 from the private sector and nine from the public sector.

Role of Members
- Co-ordinate, manage and oversee local development programmes within the county
- To ensure effectiveness, consistency and avoid duplication between public funded local development programmes
- Overseeing the Local Community Development Programme from July 2014, Local Development Committees to continue to operate them for 2014
- Responsible for management of the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP) from 2015
- Preparation of a Local Economic & Community Plan (LECP)
