Integration Team - Housing

The LAIT has a limited role when it comes to providing accommodation. Please see below for guidance:

  • International Protection (IP) applicants- accommodation provided by the state. For more details please click here
  • Programme Refugees- accommodation provided by the state- Approved Housing Body
  • Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP)- 

You can get help with getting somewhere to stay if you need it at the reception centre at Dublin Airport or Rosslare Port. You can also go to a Ukraine Support Centre if you are in Cork, Limerick or Dublin. More information on Support Centres

If you are already in Ireland, you can also email the International Protection Accommodation Service (IPAS) at ipasinbox@equality.gov.ie

  • Those with Refugee, Subsidiary Protection, or Permission to Remain status- DePaul or approved Housing Body
  • Medical conditions, disabilities, allergies and dietary requirements.
