Artist's Biography
Liam Sharkey graduated from art school in 1994 and is chairman of the Board of Visual Artists Ireland (formerly the Sculptor’s Society of Ireland). He was commissioned by Meath County Council to design and create “Mill Wheel”, which can be seen by the Navan By-Pass. “Mill Wheel” is made of Irish Blue Limestone and Steel.
