We have a varied and exciting programme of events and activities for children as well as specially organised events at different stages of the year. 

The annual Children’s Book Festival helps spread the enjoyment of books and reading among children and families, authors and illustrators, teachers and librarians all over Ireland. This festival is part of the national Right to Read initiative.

Healthy Meath is now offering free health checks through the County Meath Chronic Disease Risk Management Programme.

We hold a number of civic events to recognise achievement and also have a role in commemorating events of individuals of significance.
