Air Emission Licences

Air Emission Licences

There are currently 3 AELs issued by Meath County Council under the Air Pollution Act 1987, and these are listed below:

  • Tarstone Tarmacadam Contractors Ltd at Deanhill, Hayes, Navan, Co Meath, reference AEL 01/10
  • Roadstone Provinces Ltd at Deerpark, Slane, Co Meath, reference AEL 02/05
  • Breedon Surfacing Solutions Ireland Ltd at Killaskillen, Kinnegad, Co Meath, reference AEL 01/08

These licenses are available for inspection at the offices of the Environment Section, Meath County Council, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan Co Meath, phone 046-9097200.

It should be noted that the many of the larger industries discharging to air are licensed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
