The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, has today announced €16.5 million to deliver 185 community projects across the country.

The Community Recognition Fund allocations for Meath include €100,005 for Coláiste na HInse, €100,020 for Gormanston Pedestrian Infrastructure Upgrade, €55,127 for Duleek Development Association and €56,416 for Cultúr Migrants Centre. 

Welcoming the funding Cathaoirleach Cllr. Sharon Tolan said, “The Community Recognition Fund was first introduced last year to recognise the huge efforts made by communities in welcoming and supporting people coming to Ireland. This funding recognsies the efforts and the generosity that so many Meath communities continue to show. Meath County Council will work in collaboration with these local communities to develop these projects that will deliver long term benefits to those living in Bettystown, Navan, Duleek and Gormanston. Well done to all involved”.
