About the author
Donal Ryan, from Nenagh, County Tipperary, won the 2024 An Post Irish Book of the Year award for ‘Heart, Be at Peace’. His debut ‘The Spinning Heart’ received multiple awards and other acclaimed works include ‘Strange Flowers’ and ‘The Queen of Dirt Island’.
About the host
Nicola Cassidy, from county Louth, is an author and screenwriter, who has published four historical fiction novels. She was named Meath writer-in-residence for 2020.
