As the votes of Mike Bray and David Gilroy exceed the quota the local returning officer deem them to be elected.
As there is one continuing candidate more than the number of seats left to be filled and the distribution of the available surpluses could not materially affect the progress of the count because such distribution cannot elect the highest continuing candidate or save the lowest candidate from exclusion, the returning officer deems the following candidates to be elected, without reaching the quota: Peter Caffrey and Michael Gallagher.
