Temporary Closure of Roads in Kells Municipal District, Co. Meath

Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the following roads through the townlands of Moynalty, Shancarnan, Rathbane, Feagh, Newcastle, Tullyattin and Cormeen in the Kells Municipal District

The roads to be closed are L-2803-39, L-2803-22, L-2803-12 and L-2803

The closure will be from 8am on Tuesday 6 August until 5pm on Friday 9 August 2024. 

This closure is required to facilitate essential surface water drainage works.

Alternative Routes

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period however the road will be blocked on the L-2803 at Tullayattin. Diversion route will be along the R191/R194 through Mullagh Village.
