Roads Notice - Works at Ballinter Bridge – Millrace Arch

Meath County Council had closed the L-2200 and L-4009 at Ballinter Bridge in the townlands of Ardsallagh and Ballinter to facilitate the emergency works at Ballinter Bridge – Millrace Arch.

The closure commenced on 12th March, 2018 and was lifted lifted on 29/03/2018 at 5.00p.m.

The remaining works will be carried out under temporary traffic lights.

Alternative Routes:

From North to South;

Drive north on the L-4009 for approximately 3.1km to its junction with the R147. Turn right and continue for approximately 4.3km on the R147 to its junction with the L-2201. At the junction, turn right onto the L-2201 and continue for approximately 1.6km to its junction with the L-2200. At the junction turn right onto the L-2200 and continue for approximately 1km until you come to the south side of the bridge.

From South to North;

Drive south on the L-2200 for approximately 1km to its junction with the L-2201. At the junction, turn left onto the L-2201 and continue for approximately 1.6km to its junction with the R147. At the junction, turn right onto the R147 and continue for approximately 4.3km to its junction with the L-4009. At the junction, turn left onto the L-4009 and continue for approximately 3.1km until you come to the north side of the bridge.

Diversion and information signage will be in place.

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
