Proposed Temporary Closure of R-164, Main Street, Moynalty, Co. Meath

Meath County Council intends to temporarily close R-164, Main Street, Moynalty, Co Meath, from the junction with L-2810 Carlanstown Road to the junction with R-195 Mullagh Road.

This road closure is required to facilitate the Moynalty Steam Threshing street fair.

Proposed Temporary Closure of R-164, Main Street, Moynalty, Co. Meath

Meath County Council intends to temporarily close R-164, Main Street, Moynalty, Co Meath, from the junction with L-2810 Carlanstown Road to the junction with R-195 Mullagh Road.

The proposed closure will be from 4pm until 11pm on Saturday 10 August 2024.

This road closure is required to facilitate the Moynalty Steam Threshing street fair.

Alternative Routes

All traffic wishing to travel through Moynalty will be diverted onto alternative routes. All diversions will be signposted. Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period. Local traffic will be diverted around the village along local roads. Regional road traffic will be diverted through Mullagh village along the R-195 and from there to Moynalty Village.
