Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the Skryne Road L-1003, Ratoath to Obertstown Cross Roads, Co. Meath, from 9.30am on Monday 30th July 2018, to 4.30pm on Tuesday 7th August 2018. This road closure is required to facilitate the replacement of a collapsed culvert with new pipes.

Skryne Road L-1003, from Ratoath to Obertstown Cross Road – The Road Closure will extend 9km from Ratoath to Obertstown Cross Roads, along the L-1003 Skryne Road.                                                                                                                                

Alternative Routes:

South bound traffic from Obertstown Cross Roads to Ratoath, take the L-1005 road to Ross Cross Roads and turn left onto the R147 Road and continue to Dunshaughlin. At the first set of traffic lights in Dunshaughlin turn left onto the R125 to Ratoath. At the first roundabout in Ratoath, take the first exit onto the ring road at Steeplechase Wood to the L-1003. End Detour.

North bound traffic from Ratoath to Obertstown Cross Roads, turn left onto Steeplechase Wood ring road. At the roundabout take the third exit onto the R125 road to Dunshaughlin. At the traffic lights in Dunshaughlin turn right onto the R147 and continue to Ross Cross Roads. Turn right onto the L-1005 and continue to Obertstown Cross Roads. End Detour.

Diversion and information signage will be in place for the duration of the temporary road closure.

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
