The closures will be as listed below:
- The L-2228 (old R156) from its junction with the L-2221 (Rooske Road) to its junction with the L-2227 (old R157) – 12 noon to 6pm
- The L-2227 from its junction with the L-2228 to its junction with the L-2224 (Barracks Road) – 1pm to 6.30pm
- The L-2224 from its junction with the L-2227 to its junction with the L-2228 – 1pm to 6.30pm
- The L-2228 from its junction with the L-2227 to the roundabout at Newtown on the R157 – 1pm to 6.30pm
- The R157 from the roundabout at Newtown to the Maynooth Road roundabout – 1pm to 6.30pm
- The L-2227 Maynooth Road (old R157) from the Maynooth Road roundabout on the R157 to its junction with the L-2228 – 1p.m to 6.30p.m
Period of Road Closure:
The proposed closures will take place (times as outlined above) on Sunday 24th September 2017. This road closure is required to facilitate the staging of the Spirit of Dunboyne Motor Parade 2017 in Dunboyne.
Alternative Routes:
Diversion and information signage will be in place. Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
