Temporary Road Closure - Cannon Row, Navan - 7pm to 6am on 23rd and 24th October

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the R895 Cannon Row, Navan, Co. Meath.

Cannon Row (regional road R895) from it's junction with Railway St. (regional road R161)/Brews Hill/Trimgate Street to the junction with Abbey Road (regional road R895) roundabout.

This closure is required to facilitate the utility services investigation works in advance of the Navan Town Scheme.

Duration

The closure will be as follows:

  • From 7pm on Tuesday 23rd October, 2018 to 6am on Wednesday 24th October, 2018.
  • From 7pm on Wednesday 24th October, 2018 to 6am on Thursday 25th October, 2018.

Alternative Routes

From South to North

The traffic is to be diverted from the junction of Railway Street / Brews Hill (R161)/ Trimgate Street west on Brews Hill for a distance of 420m to the Boreen Keel junction, turning north on the Boreen Keel and Emmet Terrace to the Abbey Road roundabout.

Diversion ends.

Diversion signs will be in place.

Local access to residents and businesses will be accommodated.

Pedestrian Access

Pedestrians will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
