Temporary Closure of Roads in Trim
Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close roads in Trim town to facilitate the holding of the PÚCA Festival by Fáilte Ireland, on Thursday, 31st October, Friday, 1st November and Saturday, 2nd November 2019.

- Jonathan Swift Street
- Emmet Street Bridge
- Mill Street
- High Street
*** All above closure are from their junctions with Church Lane to their junctions with Bridge Street. ***
*** Closures on Thursday, 31st October from 5.00pm to 8.30pm. ***
- Abbey Lane
- French’s Lane
- Castle Street
*** All above closures are from their junctions with Market Street to their junctions with the Ring Road. ***
*** Closures on Thursday, 31st October from 5.00pm to 8.30pm. ***

Alternative Routes for closures (A):
Travelling on the Ring Road
- To access local roads in Trim town centre take the Ring Road to Patrick St (L8015-0),
- continue on Patrick St to Emmet Street
- Turn right and continue on Emmet Street to Trim town centre
- High Street will be open from its junction with Haggard Street to Church Lane but will have no through traffic from that point
- Watergate St will be open to traffic but will have no through road (local access only)
- Market St will be open to traffic but will have no through road (local access only)
- Finnegan’s Way will be open to traffic but will have no through road (local access only)
Alternative Routes for closures (B):
Travelling South from Market St to the Ring Road
- From Market Street take Emmet Street to Patrick Street and turn left
- Continue on Patrick Street to the Ring Road.
Travelling from the Ring Road to Market St
- Take the Ring Road to Patrick Street
- Continue on Patrick St and turn right onto Emmet Street
- Continue on Emmet Street to Market Street
Local diversion and information signage will be in place.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
