Temporary Closure of Roads in connection with Saint Patrick’s Day parades in Trim, Dunboyne, Ratoath, Ballivor, Kells, Navan & Ashbourne
Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the following roads/streets to facilitate the holding of Saint Patrick’s Day parades on Monday 17 March 2025
Trim – R-161-87 Market St, L-8015-0 Patrick St, R-161-87 Emmet St and R-933-2 Castle St, Trim, Co. Meath
- R-161-87 Market St from its junction with Emmet St to its junction with Castle St from 1pm to 5pm
- L-8015-0 Patrick St from its junction with R-161 Emmet St to its junction with R-160 Ring Road from 2.30pm to 5pm
- R-161-87 Emmet St from its junction with L-8015-0 Patrick St to its junction with Market St from 2.30pm to 5pm
- R-933-2 Castle St from its junction with R-161-87 Market St to the entrance of Castle St car park from 2.30pm to 5pm
Dunboyne - L-22191, L-2271 & L-2228, Dunboyne, Co. Meath
- L-22191 Industrial Estate Road for a distance of 180m northwest of its junction with L-2271(old Navan Road) from 1pm to 4pm
- L-2271 from its junction with L-22191 to its junction with L-2228 (old R156) from 1pm to 4pm
- L-2228 from its junction with L-2271 to its junction with L-2221 Rooske Road from 1pm to 4pm
Ratoath - R-125, R-155 & L-1006 Skyrne Road, Ratoath, Co. Meath
- R-125 from Steeplechase Hill Roundabout to Jamestown Roundabout from 10.30am o 3pm
- R-155 from its junction with L-1006 Skyrne Road to its junction with L-1014 (roundabout at Tesco) from 10.30am to 3pm
- L-1006 Skyrne Road from its junction with R-125 to its junction with R-155 from 10.30am to 3pm
Ballivor – R-156-19 from An Gleib to Ballivor Garda Station from 11am to 3pm
Kells - Circular Rd, Canon St, Suffolk St, Farrell St, Cross St, Castle St, Carrick St & Lord Edwards St from 2pm to 5pm
Navan – Trim Road from the junction at Navan Enterprise Board to Railway St, Railway St, Canon Row, Abbey Road from the junction at Canon Row to Navan Garda Station, Kennedy Road Trimgate St, Market Square, Ludlow St & Bridge St from 1pm to 5pm
Ashbourne - Broadmeadow Street from 9am to 4pm Declan Street, Frederick Street & Killegland Street from 1.45pm to 4pm
Diversion and information signage will be in place. Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
