Closure from 9.00am on Tuesday, 29th October 2019 until 6.00pm on Friday, 8th November 2019 to facilitate resurfacing works on the R162 at locations from Rathe to Lisnagrow.

Alternative Route

R162 Diversion from Nobber to Kingscourt

From Nobber take the R162 south to its junction with the N52
Take a right on to the N52.
Continue southwest on the N52 to its junction with the R164 at Kells.
Take a right on to the R164.
Continue north on the R164 to Kingscourt.

R162 Diversion from Kingscourt to Nobber

From Kingscourt take the R164 south to Kells.
At the junction of the R164 and the N52, take a left on to the N52.
Continue northeast on the N52 to its junction with the R162
Take a left on to the R162.
Continue north on the R162 to Nobber.

Diversion signs will be in place. Local access will be provided onto the closed section of the R162.
