Temporary Closure of L34001 Old Athlumney Road, Navan, Co. Meath

Meath County Council has made an order to close L34001 Old Athlumney Road, Navan, Co. Meath from its junction with R153 to the roundabout on L5060 Bóthar Hodgett.

The closure will be from 8pm on Sunday 6 October 2024 to 7am on Saturday 30 November 2024 for 24 hrs. per day.

This road closure is required to facilitate the installation of new infrastructure (Duleek to Navan Trunk Main Pipeline Project) on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

Alternative Routes

• Eastbound: At L34001/L5060 roundabout take L5060 Bóthar Hodgett to its junction with R153, turn left onto R153 Kentstown Road and continue to its junction with L34001 Old Athlumney Road.

• Westbound: At L34001 Old Athlumney Road junction take R153 westbound to its junction with L5060, turn right onto L5060 Bóthar Hodgett and continue to L34001 Old Athlumney Road/L5060 roundabout.

Diversion and information signage will be in place. Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
