Meath County Council has made an order to close a section of the Eastham Road (R-150-26) Bettystown to facilitate works to replace an existing culvert with a larger culvert as part of associated flood relief scheme.

 

Details 

The closure will be on a 300m section of the Eastham Road (R-150-26) north of the Triton Roundabout (R-150-26) for 24hrs daily between 29th October and 7th November 2022.

 

Alternative Routes 

Northbound Traffic 

  • At Triton Roundabout head east toward Bettystown and take left northbound on the R-151 for 2.5km.
  • Take left for Garra rd (L-5614-0).
  • Continue west until R-150 junction Donacarney and take left southbound on R-150.
  • End Detour.

Southbound Traffic

  • Take Garra Road eastbound until R-151 junction.
  • Take R-151 southbound for 2.5km.
  • Take right westbound for R-150/ Tara Rd.
  • End Detour.

 

All diversion routes will display adequate diversion signage for the duration of the closure period.

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
