The closure is required to facilitate the upgrade works to Railway Street (R161) as part of the Navan Town Scheme (Navan 2030).
Alternative Routes:
Travelling Westbound:
At the Solstice Roundabout (junction of Circular Road/ Leighsbrook/ Railway Street), traffic is to be diverted south onto Railway Street/Trim Road (R161) for a distance of approx. 250m to the junction with Carriage Road where it shall take a right turn and continue the junction of the Dan Shaw Road. At this junction, traffic shall turn right onto Claremont Avenue and continue to the Commons Road junction, where it shall turn right onto the Commons Road and continue to the junction of R161 (Brews Hill) adjacent to the Navan Hospital. At this junction traffic shall turn right onto Brews Hill (R161) and travel approx. 420m to the Railway Street/Brews Hill/Trimgate Street/Cannon Row junction.
Travelling Northbound:
Travelling towards Navan on the Trim Road (R161), traffic shall turn left at the Dan Shaw Road and travel approx. 800m onto the Commons Road junction, where it shall turn right onto the Commons Road and continue to the junction of R161 (Brews Hill) adjacent to the Navan Hospital. At this junction traffic shall turn right onto Brews Hill (R161) and travel approx. 420m to the Railway Street/Brews Hill/Trimgate Street/Cannon Row junction.
Diversion and information signage will be in place.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
