Proposed Temporary Closure of Railway Street (R161) in Navan, Co. Meath
Meath County Council intends to close Railway St. (Regional Road R161) from the junction at The Solstice Roundabout (junction of Circular Road/Leighsbrook/Trim Road) to its junction with Brews Hill/Trimgate Street/Cannon Row, in the Townland of Townparks in Navan to facilitate road pavement resurfacing, line marking and ancillary works as part of the Navan Town Scheme.

- The closure will be from Thursday, 13th February 2020 until Saturday, 15th February 2020 inclusive, during the hours of 8.00pm to 6.00am.
Alternative Routes
From Solstice Roundabout to Brews Hill Junction
- Divert east on Circular Road (R161) to the R147 Kells Road.
- Then turn left, northbound on R147 to N51.
- Then head westbound on the N51 Navan Inner Relief Road.
- Turn left onto L-3416-0 to Commons Road junction.
- Continue onto Brews Hill.
- Diversion ends.
Diversion signs will be in place. Local access to residents and businesses will be accommodated. Pedestrians will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
