Proposed Temporary Closure of L-5026 in the townlands of Piercetown, Pace, Ballymaggillin, Whitesland, Stokestown and Normansgrove, Co Meath
Meath County Council intends to temporarily close L-5026 in the townlands of Piercetown, Pace, Ballymaggillin, Whitesland, Stokestown and Normansgrove from a point 200m east of its junction with R-147 to its junction with L-1010.
The proposed closure will be from 8am to 6pm on Monday, 19 May 2025 and Tuesday, 20 May 2025.
This road closure is required to facilitate ground investigation works undertaken by Causeway Geotech Ltd on behalf of RPS/Eirgrid.
Alternative Routes
Detours will be via R-147 and L-1010. Diversion signage will be in place. Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
