Proposed Temporary Closure of Flowerhill, Navan, Co. Meath

Meath County Council intends to temporarily close Flower Hill (R-162-169), Navan, Co Meath. This road closure is required to facilitate the installation of a new Trunk Watermain.

 

The closure will be as listed below;

  • Flower Hill (R-162-169),Navan from the Ratholdren Road Junction to the “Round O” Roundabout (N51 Slane Road). 

 

Period of Road Closure as follows:

  • 7:00p.m., Wednesday, 15th July until 7:00a.m., Thursday, 16th July, 2020
  • 7:00p.m., Thursday, 16th July until 7:00a.m., Friday, 17th July, 2020

 

Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling northbound on Flower Hill will be required to divert onto the Ratholdren Road and turn right (under traffic management) onto the N51.

HGV’swill be required to travel West along the R147 to Kells road roundabout, take the 4th exit and travel east along the N51, take left onto the N51 at the junction with the R147.

Diversion and information signage will be in place.

 

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
