Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the R895 Cannon Row, Navan, Co. Meath.

This closure is required to facilitate the utility services investigation works in advance of the Navan Town Scheme.

Comhairle Chontae Na Mí / Meath County Council under the Roads Act 1993 and Road Regulations 1994.

Cannon Row (regional road R895) from it's junction with Railway Street (regional road R161)/Brews Hill/Trimgate Street to the junction with Abbey Road (regional road R895) roundabout

Duration

The closure will commence on Tuesday 23rd October, 2018 at 8.00am and will continue to Thursday 25th October, 2018 at 8.00a.m.

Alternative Routes

From South to North

The traffic is to be diverted from the junction of Railway Street / Brews Hill (R161)/ Trimgate Street west on Brews Hill for a distance of 420m to the Boreen Keel junction, turning north on the Boreen Keel and Emmet Terrace to the Abbey Road roundabout.

Diversion ends.

Diversion signs will be in place.

Local access to residents and businesses will be accommodated.

Pedestrian Access

Pedestrians will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.

Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Buvinda House Dublin Road Navan, Co. Meath, C15 Y291 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before 3rd October 2018.
