No right turn onto new bridge Kentstown road - from Dublin to Kells road (R147) travelling northbound towards Kells, 10th to 23rd September
There will be no right turn onto the New Bridge on the Kentstown Road from the Dublin to Kells Road (R147) (travelling northbound towards Kells) from 8am on Monday 10th of September until 8pm on Sunday 23rd of September. It will be possible to turn left onto the New Bridge if coming from the opposite direction (travelling from Kells direction).
Please note - Both lanes of traffic will remain open on the New Bridge on the Kentstown Road (R153) during this time.
Diversion signs will be in place to allow turning onto the New Bridge from the Kells to Dublin Road (R147) southbound towards Dublin.
This restriction is to facilitate road works associated with the cycle and pedestrian bridge at the New Bridge on the Kentstown Road (R153), on the footpaths on the town side of the Kells/Dublin Road (R147), and a new push button crossing at the Timmons Hill/R147 junction.
Meath County Council would like to thank the public for their patience during these works.
