Enjoy this fascinating pottery workshop where each child will learn to make a pinch/thumb pot and develop it into their chosen creature or monster. Children will learn some basic sculpting techniques working with pottery clay and will be encouraged to use their creativity and imagination to make a unique functional bowl. The pots will need a couple of weeks to go through the glazing and firing process in Anita’s kiln before going on display in Navan Library. After the exhibition, participants may take home their pieces to keep. As this is a messy event, we recommend either bringing an apron/overall or wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
