Meath County Council Library Service is delighted to welcome author Belinda McKeon to the Swift Theatre in Trim. 

During this free event, Belinda will discuss her writing process, the themes and elements of her novel 'Tender', and her work as Director of the Creative Writing MA at Maynooth University. 

Belinda McKeon is a novelist and playwright. Her novels are Solace (2011) and Tender (2015), and she is the editor of the anthology A Kind of Compass: Stories on Distance (2015).  Solace won the Faber Prize and was named Irish Book of the Year 2011, and Tender was a finalist for Irish Novel of the Year and the Encore Prize. After many years living in the US, Belinda is now based in Trim, Co Meath. She is Director of the MA in Creative Writing at Maynooth University.
