Children’s Summer Events

Children’s Summer Reading Scheme – Summer Stars!
For children aged 6 – 12 years. Join the summer reading challenge! On registration you receive a free reader card, which is stamped after each book you read, a fridge magnet and a super wrist band. Read 4 books and you receive our fab summer stars bag. Read 6 books and you are put into the draw for a chance to win a Kindle Fire Tablet. Everyone who reads one book receives a certificate at the end of the scheme.

The Smashing Red Kite is a newly published book by local author Ann Lorraine Mack.
This event celebrates the colourful world of kites with storytelling (by the author), crafting & some special music guests! Booking required.
