Art Exhibition Paper Quilling

World Book Day
Bookmark competition for Schools Thursday 2nd March. Primary schools in the county have been invited to enter a bookmark competition for World Book Day. The winning entry will drawn on World Book Day and be published as our new library bookmark. These will be made available in our 12 branch libraries.

Seachtain Na Gaeilge Events 2017
Deaglán de Bréadún - who interviewed Yasser Arafat and Kofi Annan, will launch Seachtain na Gaeilge in Navan Library next Wednesday 1st March at 1.00pm. Former political and Northern editor with the Irish Times, Deaglán will give a bilingual talk on current affairs and politics based on his recently released book Cinnlínte

International Women’s Day
Wednesday 8th March 11.30 - 12.30 -  Journalist Dave Kenny will give a talk on Máire Nic Shiubhlaigh for International Women's Day (Founder member of Abbey Theatre and 1916 Rebel). School invitation only.

Gibbstown Gaeltacht
Thursday 9th March at 7.30pm. A talk on the founding of the Gibbstown Gaeltacht in County Meath.

Aidan Courtney
Comici as Gaeilge Tuesday 14th March at 9.30am and 10.30am – Schools invitation only.

Engineer’s Week   5th – 11th March 
Events will be taking place in Navan Library and other libraries in the county. These events are school invitation only.  The Rediscovery Centre and W5 (from Belfast) will be entertaining the school students will all things engineering.

Job Seeking Skills Workshops
Tuesday 28th March 2.00pm – 4.30pm – CV preparation Thursday 30th March 2.00 – 4.30pm – Improving your Interview Skills Sinead Togher, guidance counsellor and job coach will facilitate these valuable job-seeking workshops. Spaces are limited and booking is essential.

Navan Active Retirement Association. First Tuesday of every month at 11am.

Thursday Adult Book Club
Weekly meeting every Thursday at 10.30am.

Knitting Circle HSE Unit Service Users
Tuesdays at 11am (except first Tuesday of each month)

Spanish Intermediate Conversation
Tuesdays at 7pm. This group meet every Tuesday for Spanish conversation. An intermediate level and above. All newcomers are welcome.

Ciorcal Comhrá / Irish Conversation Circle
Wednesdays from 1-2pm. This is an informal conversation circle and is aimed at those who would like to practice their Irish. The group started on the 19th Oct.

Adult Crafts Group
Thursdays at 6.30pm. The group meets every week sharing ideas and teaching skills to newcomers.

Navan Creative Writers
Wednesdays at 11.30am. New members welcome to attend.

Children Events

Junior Book Clubs 8 - 10 years
Wednesday 1st February, 3.30-4pm for 8 – 10 years . Wednesday 15th February, 3.30- 4pm for 10 – 12 years.

Parents and Toddlers Story time Group
Every Wednesday at 10.30am. Come along for stories, songs, games and colouring. Suitable for pre-school children.

Junior Creative Writer's Group
Saturday mornings at 10.30am (except Bank Holiday weekends). Please leave your contact details at the desk if you are interested in joining.

Children's Saturday Chess Club
Every Saturday except Bank Holiday Weekends. 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
