TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES

ST. PATRICK’S PARK, DUNBOYNE, COUNTY MEATH

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Meath County Council proposes to introduce traffic calming measures to include the closure of the road in St. Patrick’s Park, Dunboyne at its junction with L2228 Summerhill Road for a trial period of six months, to improve resident and pedestrian safety on the road at the St. Patrick’s Park Housing Estate, Dunboyne, Co. Meath.

The Scheme provides for

  1. Complete closure of the junction of road from St. Patrick’s Park, Dunboyne with the L2228 Summerhill Road. This will preclude traffic travelling on the Summerhill and the Navan Roads from using the road through the housing estate, instead of continuing onto the junction at the north end of Main Street.
  2. Alterations to existing kerb lines, signage and public lighting etc.

The plans and particulars of the proposed scheme will be available for inspection during office hours from Thursday, 15th November 2018 to Friday 14th December 2018 at the offices listed below:
